Our Kickstarter campaign for theTales of the Moon Cult expansion pack ended successfully. Thank you very much to all those who supported it! Those who missed it can still back the project via PayPal on our Backer Portal.
Moreover, we just checked our old stock and we still have a couple of copies of the beautiful standard box for only $43 + shipping (with handbook/lorebook, base game and expansion pack included) available on our Store Page.
Magical Artbook - A New Project
We've also got some questions in our inbox, asking whether a dedicated, standalone Black Geyser artbook in full color will be available. Since Black Geyser has beautiful art, that's actually a great idea, but such a hardcover book has a high total cost, so if the demand isn't high enough, such a project wouldn't be successful. Therefore, we decided to open a survey where you can indicate your interest in such a standalone artbook.
This is not the artbook included in the collector's and boxed editions of the game, but a bigger, brand-new ongoing project. It would feature full-color concept art, constructs, locations, monsters and portraits from Isilmerald and the world of Yerengal.

It's less than 20 hours to go for Tales of the Moon Cult Expansion Pack kickstarter and only $1200 is missing for the current goal!
Spirit NPC Designer addons - they don't require you to pledge for the Expansion Pack
If you haven't pledged yet because you already have the DLC from 2018, we have good news: you can join the campaign for only $5.35 (or 5€), this is the Supporter reward tier that makes all digital add-ons selectable for you. Here are a couple of options for you to consider:
For an amazing price of $7.50 (or 7€), we have a Design Your Own Spirit NPC add-on that allows you to design a custom NPC to be included in game. If you prefer, you can start designing the NPC an online website immediately after pledging. Also, your name will be added to GAME CREDITS as well!
Holidays are coming - surprise your friends with a Lorebook PDF for 7€ (monster manual sample below!!!) or with digital wallpapers for 3€ only!

Tales of the Moon Cult - Expansion Pack Funded

Greetings, adventurers!
The Kickstarter campaign for the Black Geyser expansion pack, Tales of the Moon Cult launched last week and has already reached its base funding goal. Many thanks to all backers for their contribution - you are amazing! By the way, a more easily reachable, new stretch goal was also inserted at €25k:
This means that Black Geyser: Couriers of Darkness will get a major DLC as well as a free fixpack next year. The fixpack will be delivered to all owners of the base game as a Steam/GOG update (patch), so there will be no need to own the Tales of The Moon Cult DLC to get it.
Key features of Tales of the Moon Cult will include:
Major questline focusing on the Cult of Zoria and their answer to the corruption of greed affecting the world
Indoor, outdoor and underground areas with new side quests and riddles
Brand-new spells and magical items

Tales of the Moon Cult campaign launches on 17th October

The Kickstarter campaign for the Tales the Moon Cult expansion pack (DLC) is launching on 17th October (next Tuesday)!
If you plan to support us, please help our planning by clicking the "Notify me on launch" button on its Kickstarter page.
If the upcoming Kickstarter campaign is successful, our studio will not have to shut down. In this case, the launch of the Tales of the Moon Cult expansion (DLC) is expectable before August 2024.
The DLC introduces brand-new areas with new content and a major questline focusing on the Zoria Cult and their answer to the corruption of greed affecting the world. Some of the planned features for the free Fixpack are as follows:
Dual wielding for Warrior and Outlaw classes
Strongholds
Travel to quest giver directly from journal UI (one loading screen)
Already known recipes are marked in shop UI
Steam Cloud Save (GOG is already supported)
GOG Achievements
Item descriptions display which classes can use the item
Full personal questline for Helgenhar
Expanded romance lines (planned stretch goal)
Two brand-new companions (planned high stretch goal)
A brand-new character class (planned high stretch goal)
More love for unarmed combat (planned stretch goal)
Craft a golem who will fight on your side (planned high stretch goal)
Shapeshifting for druids and as spells (planned stretch goal)
Improved modding support (planned stretch goal)

Kickstarter Coming Soon For Expansion Pack

Greetings, adventurers!
We are happy to announce that that we are going to launch a Kickstarter campaign very soon (early October) to fund the DLC's development - its Coming Soon page is already live on Kickstarter!
We encourage you to subscribe to its launch notification on the Coming Soon page. Your subscription (the number of subscribers) will help us a lot in the planning of the campaign, including the stretch goals. If you're an existing backer already having the DLC add-on, you will be offered another cool reward in the DLC Kickstarter (for any pledges that normally give the DLC), so we've got covered here. Of course, you can still choose to get a second copy of the DLC instead, if you prefer.
If the Kickstarter campaign is successful, our studio won't be forced to close, and the DLC is expected to arrive before August 2024.
You can check out this forum post for more details on the DLC and its associated Fixpack. We want to emphasize that this Fixpack will be a free Steam/GOG update to all owners of the base game, so you won't need to purchase the DLC to get it.
A teleport spell would be handy now...
Backers of our previous Kickstarter campaign who haven't received their physical rewards yet (game box, lorebook etc.) will receive all items well before the start of the DLC campaign, as all shipping will be completed before the end of September.
